
Go to "Integration" tab like I said above, and there should be a check box down below for VLC Player. After five to ten seconds passes, close MakeMKV. Click "Apply," but wait about five to ten seconds do not close MakeMKV just yet. (Basically you're telling MakeMKV where your Java executable file is located). Paste the path to the "bin" directory from the step above into the box labeled "Custom Java executable location". Go to Preferences, then navigate to the "Protection" tab. txt file above, and copy the path to the Java install again (since you restarted your PC, the clipboard got wiped).
(This might be optional, but I always do it): In Windows 10, type "environment variables" in the start bar, then click "edit," then paste the path to Java.exe (from the "bin" directory) in there. txt file containing the path to your Java install for easy copy/pasting later on, and stick it on your desktop or whatever. Don't download from CNet has a copy you can download directly without creating an Oracle account. Be absolutely 100% sure you match your chip architecture (圆4 or x86). Download then install Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
